Winter Snow Storm in Michigan Add Video
December 19, 2008 Bad snow storm in Michigan with snow totals of up to 1 foot. More than 600 schools were closed in metro Detroit. Some news stations couldn't even fit them all during their newscast. Not a fun day to live in Michigan. I saw many, many cars skid, spin, or get stuck in a snow bank. Many main roads were not plowed or salted causing speeds of 15 mph on 40 mph roads. We were going 35-40 mph on the highway.
